Grounded in his all-American roots and the inspiration he takes from his extensive travels around the world, over the years Sanders has developed style is the perfect sophisticated blend of traditional and contemporary, an approachable, familiar, and casual elegance personalized to match the lifestyles of clients or the personalities of brands.
A graduate of Parsons School of Design, with a degree in Interior Design, Scott Sanders began his professional career at Ralph Lauren. He created the company's interior design department and, as lead interior designer, transformed the residences of Ralph Lauren clients in California, Florida, New York, Connecticut and Paris. His highly acclaimed renovation of the Beach House Bal Harbour Hotel for noted art-collector and boutique hotelier clients, the Rubell family in Miami Beach during his last year with Ralph Lauren, reflected Sanders' now evident signature style and was a driving force in establishing Scott Sanders LLC.

About Scott Sanders
After graduating from the Parsons School of Design, Scott Sanders began his professional career at Ralph Lauren. There, he led the company’s interior design department, transforming residences for clients in California, Florida, New York, Connecticut and Paris. In 2000, Scott opened his full-service design firm specializing in bespoke residential interiors. His distinguished portfolio includes homes in New York, Florida, New Jersey, Colorado, Arizona, California and the Caribbean, three iconic hotels, plus two appearances at the renowned Kips Bay Decorator Show House in New York City.
Scott is the author of two books, The Insider Guide to the Lord Baltimore Hotel and Baltimore, Too, and “Picture Perfect: Designing the New American Family Home.” He and his husband, Peter Wilson, live in New York City and Palm Beach, along with their dachshund Bailey.

The overall ambiance of this room is homey, understated, and non-jarring. It uses a mix of vertical lines with more restful horizontal lines, and gentle curves are seen in furniture, pillows, and accessories.
